DETENTE

This just in- there has been a detente declared in the Scottie household. Sidney has been king of the recliner since he arrived here 9 years ago. Shelby has respected his throne and not tried to share the chair. Sophie has been trying to share for the longest time and Sidney jumps off immediately. We have  had a break through. Sidney was sitting in the recliner and Sophie joined him. He did not jump off and he remained with her for the longest time. I don’t know if he was just giving in to her or if he was enjoying her company. Only time will tell.001002003004

Kaci loves you. So does Kali. Please don’t leave us to unite with Kyla yet. Terriers are true friends forever.

That will never happen. They are feed in different locations. They do check all of the bowls out after they have finished. They do get the same thing.

It’s amazing the way they check each other’s bowl-the other dog might have been stupid enough to have left something in the bowl.

You can be the under pillow. Shelby doesn’t get involved in the recliner. She is still afraid of it from her bad experience when she arrived here. She jumped on the foot stool and it started turning. She feel off. Now she only goes on if some person is sitting on the recliner.

Wow, you are allowed on the furniture. Everytime I try and assume my rightful position on any one of the three couches here, I am told to get off. Something about being a bad dog, who knows, after all am I not the bestest maremma in all the land. Love Jasper.

They have always been allowed on the furniture. The couch and loveseat are less than a year old. The recliners are over 35 years and all of the Scotties have been very respectful of the furniture. Sophie does seem to enjoy the rattan table a little too much. They have not survived as well.
