Many Shades of Scotties

Scotties come in many colors. A representative group is depicted here. Shelby is the wheaten. She has a lot of red in her. Sidney is the black brindle. Sophie is the brindle. She has many colors in her coat- blonde, black, grey, and many shades of those colors.

I am au naturel. That is french for my hair is as it grows. The smells of the chemicals made me decide to not color my hair. It looks kind of like Sophies’ hair I confess that I did pluck out some Corky’s gray hairs, but that was many years ago.

Well, a variety is what makes the world go round, us three are black…I have some white starting to show, Bites has a lot of white showing, and bothe bites and Mickey have red in their beards, you can see it in the sunshine!

I thought that Sidney was black, but the breeder said that he was a black brindle. If you see him next to Rocky, you can tell the difference. The red beards are from sitting in the sunlight. You don’t have to be outside to get the effect.
