Dixie has taken over the prime spot on the bed. Usually Sid and Shelby vie for the spot up against the head board. Dixie has taken over the spot and refuses to give it up.At least they don’t fight over space in the middle of the night. The first time Dixie stayed over, it was constant screeching because they went near her. Now everything is copacetic.

I don’t shut the light off until 3 am. Once Dixie falls asleep, all is good.

It’s a dual king. I sleep on the left hand side of the bed. There is a body pillow between the two twin mattresses on the king headboard to keep them from falling in. Another body pillow on the right side of the right bed to keep them from falling out and many pillows against the headboard. Shelby usually sleeps up against me.

We saw the article from the Scottish Terrier rescue of the Southeast. That is where I got Shelby. We have a code enforcement issue in the Village of Royal Palm Beach. There is a limit of 3 dogs per household. The officer and I are not the greatest of friends. I believe that all rules should be enforced uniformly. They seem to have rules n a case by case basis. It doesn’t pay to adopt and then be forced to get rid of an animal and pay a fine. Sid doesn’t always get along with male dogs.
