Snakes

The snakes have been sitting on the table for over two years. Yesterday was the first time that the dogs noticed them. Maggie’s dad thought that it would be funny for the dogs to play with the snakes. They were originally bought to scare away whatever animal had been leaving me presents in the pool every morning. Maggie’s dad(a biologist) set up a humane trap and we put food into it. Every morning the food would be gone. He next thought that having the fake snakes would prevent the creature from leaving a deposit in the pool. I finally spent the whole day encircling the pool with my hurricane shutters. It finally worked. The two snakes are now part of the patio. Hopefully the dogs do not try to play with a real snake, because the really enjoyed playing with the plastic snakes.

Oh Doggie, SNAKES, somebody say SNAKES, “Run Bites, Run”. Ohhhhhhh we hate snake here, scary things! Had them we we first moved in, took Dad several times to get us away and throw them over the fence, so we learned they aren’t good!

Maybe I should go for snake training. I don’t want to encounter them any more.
