A WHOLE LOT OF DOGS

It was a busy day today. We had company. First Michele came with Rocky. Then Dixie, her mom Monika, Maggie and her parents came to visit. There were five dogs running around the pool. Thankfully, no one feel in the water. They all got along swimmingly. Pictured in the foreground Maggie with the red harness and Dixie behind her. The Scotties from left to right- Rocky, Sid, and Shelby. That is Maggie’s mom, Nixie . It is a pleasure to be with such well behaved dogs. They can come to visit at any time.

THE MORE THE MERRIER. Sid would love to have a harem surrounding him. The girls are fine with that.

They really are wonderful together. They even shared treats at the end of the afternoon.

A pool party minus any dog going in the pool. My Scotties have never been into the pool.

These were candid shots. If Sid and Shelby knew that I had the camera, they would have put back their ears and turned their backs to me. It was the first time that they had been out by the pool and they were exploring.

That was over a year ago. Since the arrival of Sophie, we don’t get as many visitors. She has scared away a lot of people with her craziness. The last time that Maggie’s mother came to visit, I had to give her a towel to put over her legs. Sophie just kept jumping on and off her legs and scratching her. Maggie hasn’t been here in ages. She thought that Sophie was too annoying when they met and she growled at her.
