Two Dog Night

The weather in Florida has finally turned cooler. Last night the temperature got down to the 40’s. Usually Sid doesn’t like Shelby to be so close to him on the couch, but the cooler weather made him stay still and allow Shelby to get closer. The bedroom was even colder than the family room and Shelby stayed right up again mom the whole night.

Sid usually doesn’t stay still for any length of time. It must have been cold (by Florida standards).

I wish that Sid would have been a womanizer. I had a lovely young lady of excellent heritage for him. He was clueless. My stud muffin was a dud muffin.

They sleep in the bed with me. They lounge on anything that is available. This time it was the couch. Hope I’m not causing any problems by admitting this to you.

Shelby is always a snuggle bunny. Sid, not so much. He is constantly on the move, except when there is a chill in the air.

I am once again in the polar vertex and have had below zero temps all week. I will snuggle with anyone to stay warm.

So sorry to hear that you have had below zeros all week. That is why mom moved to Florida 30 years ago. She had enough of fighting the cold weather, walking dogs in the snow, and trying to get to work at her school without available public transportation.

You guys are bad influences. Thankfully, my Scotties have been very good with furniture. The only place they are not allowed is the sewing room. I’m a bit careless when I sew and I don’t want them to walk on any dropped sewing needles or pins. Otherwise they can go where ever they want.
